I decided to talk with Corey and Meghan at Vitality Human Performance and we collectively created a plan for me to get back to the activities that I love the most. After three months of working out with the team at VHP, I recently had a chance to go skiing. I instantly noticed a difference in strength and endurance and was able to ski all day without pain. I started two months ago with semi-personal training and was so nervous on the first day. Those nerves vanished almost immediately- and that's because Corey and Meghan were truly meant to do what they do. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a gym environment…and I’ve tried many. I used to hate walking around a gym unsure of what exercise to do and if I was doing enough. VHP has completely changed the way I view working out in my 30s. Each session is filled with challenging and meaningful exercises that have helped me not only increase my overall strength, but have helped increase my confidence in what my body is capable of. They’re always right there to help me if my form is off or if I need a modification for an exercise based off of my ability. For most of my life, I’ve worked out to some degree. Speaking for myself, the gym atmosphere can be intimidating. I mostly stuck with cardio because I never truly knew what to do otherwise. Being a part of this gym has been an ongoing learning experience for myself to get me back to strength training for a healthier lifestyle. We all have strengths and weaknesses and Corey and Meghan have been nothing short of amazing coaches who literally walk you through and demonstrate every exercise and give alternative options if that is what is needed to help you achieve your goals! They are the best personal trainers I have ever dealt with. During my initial assessment which consisted of a one on one with Corey I had trouble doing 2 pushups, couldn't due a weightless squat. Had to wear a knee brace to class. Happy to say I no longer wear a knee brace! I look forward to my workouts. The classes are limited to 6 people per hour session so there is a lot of attention given. Meghan and Corey create the perfect environment to have fun and feed off the positive energy of small group workouts in a community of great people who build each other up in our individual health journeys. As coaches, Meghan and Corey provide the guidance I need to make the most out of my workouts with a well-planned out total body program that builds upon consistent progress. I have never felt healthier than in the three years I have been coming to VHP, where I feel constant improvement in my strength and conditioning and a noticeable difference in so many everyday ways. Each time I come to VHP, I know I am going to push myself safely and wisely and leave feeling accomplished and overall a little better and stronger. They foster a team-friendly positive environment in which everyone encourages each other and feels the benefit of the VHP program, no matter their individual health goals. They are extremely knowledgable and, more importantly, explain the "how" of technique and the "why" behind the process so clearly, we all gain a better understanding of our own individual overall health and wellness. There is no way I could have made the progress I always wanted to make without VHP and Meghan and Corey's coaching and caring. They are awesome people who truly are invested in our success, and it makes such a difference!
